Updates and Upcoming Trip

Lately, I have been very busy keeping up with my social network[s] and blog[s]. Sometimes it gets very tedious, and quite overwhelming. But at the end of the day, I know all of my hard work pays off and it is worth all the hardships. Blogging life can be very challenging, especially if you are still trying to find your voice in the midst of it all. Thank God I have been blessed to have had wonderful opportunities such as my Nokia infomercial and the SOL Republic Italia collaboration.

As a reward for my hard work, I have decided to splurge on a few “beauty” must have’s that I have been meaning to purchase. I ended up with quite a few MAC goodies, YSL Glossy Balm, Chanel Lipstick and two Beauty subscription box which is set to arrive within a week or so. Oh, joy!

To top that, I have another upcoming getaway! I am finally going to the big apple … YES! I could hardly believe it myself, I am going to be staying in New York City for 1 month and 9 days! I am set to fly out in 3 days. I badly need to start packing. I really don’t know what to bring but one thing is for sure I am going to be shipping out hauls from NYC. Plus, I miss filipino snacks and the asian food stores here in Italy is nowhere close to the Pinoy Grocery marts in the states. I am still thinking if I am going to cut my trip in the mid and travel to California for 3-5days, then again I may just enjoy New York for the whole 39 days. I can easily go back to California anyway. After all I was born in California and you simply can’t top off New York on my list at the moment. Lol. Here’s my booked flight …

When I get back home, boyf and I are already planning a few European cruise for summer and my upcoming birthday. This year is just so grand! I am truly blessed. I am very very grateful and overfilled with joy. Then by the end of this year we’re heading out to Asia. More details about that soon. For now, I prefer to share the “current” events in my life.

I have also been practicing my makeup skills and have been improving tremendously. I am not claiming I am well skilled nor am I a pro, I am simply saying compare to how I used to be like, I have definitely learned so much and have improved from a newbie to somewhat skilled. Here’s a new photo for y’all to see … of course makeup and photography done by yours truly.

Not bad right? I did some post processing of course but nothing that alters that actual makeup application especially in my brow area! Having bold defined brows are definitely “IN” this year and I have been trying my best to sport the look. Hope y’all enjoyed my extra long update. Let me know if you have any questions!
