As I have shared yesterday, I will be sharing swatch samples and a short review for this limited edition See and Be Seen makeup kit by Anastasia of Beverly Hills. Overall, the packaging itself looks very elegant and professional.

Anastasia has long been the definitive eye and brow expert for icons such as Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah as well as hip up-and-comers like Dianna Agron, Selena Gomez and Kristen Cavallari. Anastasia’s make up plus approach always has the importance of skin care at the base of their clinically tested cosmetic formulas and has recently expanded into colors that match their superior standards for skincare based cosmetics. Anastasia of Beverly Hills products have also been recently added to all Sephora stores in the United States.

Let’s start with the compact case with two shades of eye shadow on it. In my honest opinion, the compact casing of the eye shadow have a hint of Victorian touch to it. Minimal, elegant and sleek. In fact, it can easily fit a small purse or even a tight pocket of a skinny jean. I’m a mirror girl, and I must admit, I have my self-absorbed moment where I just have to check myself twice in a mirror. This is definitely a handy kit to have. Up next, are the lipgloss Heiress and Plastic that looks absolutely girly and feminine. Heiress leans over the sophisticated look, while Plastic is more like Barbie shade type. I totally love both shades and mind you these glosses are long lasting. Truth be told it is quite hard to remove by regular water in case you decide to remove it earlier. Found that out when I washed off Heiress to try on Plastic. 😛

For the tinted brow definer, I am absolutely in love with it. The way it looks from the container it looks off with its golden coppery shade, but when applied it looks very natural in light brown shade. I am ready to toss out my other one as this shade compliments my skin more. My old one comes off a lot darker. 😛

The Lash Genius lives up to its name. The clear top coat really does make any mascara waterproof and last long. My falsies was quite difficult to clean after the end of the day because it is water proof. LOL. Definitely worth it and assures anyone that it won’t wear out on a rainy day, or even over a tearful heart melting event. No running mascaras to ruin that picture perfect moment. 🙂
