My Style

Fierce Shade of Blue

By  |

Today I decided to try playing around with the eye shadow set I received from BornPrettyStore.com that was sent to me sometime in April [read the blog post here]. I know it had been quite a while already, but I have been very caught up with my schedule and I didn’t have the time to start swatching for samples, even more for tutorials. Hopefully after my vacation I will be able to get back to updating my youtube channel too. As pictured below, you can see the palette that I have used. I promise to make clear tutorial and samples as soon as I can. xox

Anyway, I have decided to try on some shades of blue in my eyes and paired it with a blue inspired ensemble. I just thought it would be nice to try matching things for a change. 🙂 Check out my snaps below…

I have decided to blend some shades of Bright Blue, Pastel Pink and White to come up with this elegant eye makeup look. What I really love about the eye shadow is that it is very pigmented. Quite easy to create some bold look and at the same time it isn’t hard to remove at the end of the day. If ever I want the eye shadow to last longer and stay bright for hours without requiring much touch-ups I simply use an eye-primer and eye shadow base coat before application.

Totally love the eye shadow set and it is very affordable too! It retails for only $7.08 — great price right? Don’t forget to get yours while supplies last! If you have any questions feel free to let me know, and I’ll answer as soon as I can. Til’ next, xox.
