Back in the day, “Geeks” and “Nerd” doesn’t related to fashion in any aspect. As a matter of fact, you’d most likely assume that the person being referred to as a geek or nerd is the least fashionable and stylish among everyone else. Through time, fashion had evolved and have found beauty in what used to be an unwanted look… wearing over-sized frames to imply the geeky and nerdy image.

Ever since I was a little girl, I have been wearing eyeglasses to correct my vision. From time to time I do wear contact lenses whenever I feel like ditching my frames. Now that the frames are making waves in the fashion industry as a “statement” piece, I have been trying out to mix and match my outfit with different frames. I haven’t really come up with much, as I have gotten used to wearing my white armani glasses with just about everything. Check out my new frames…

Obviously my favorite is the pink one, except it is the hardest one to pair with clothes as it isn’t a neutral color. Nonetheless, I will still sport the glasses no matter what. Especially this upcoming summer I am so looking forward to bringing it along on my trips. In fact, I am really excited to get out in the sun already and get some tan. Boyfie thinks I am too light skin and teases me that I am “white” and not pure asian. LMAO. This week I am looking forward to getting my red monokini swimwear in the mail. This time around I am not playing it safe with color choices. After all we only live once [YOLO] so I am ditching my typical black and white picks and going for the bolder shades. I can’t wait to strut around and flaunt my new monokini and enjoy the sun outside. In two weeks time frame if the weather still isn’t as hot as I am predicting it will be, I’d still go for a short swim…Til’ next! xox
