New Look: Bree Van de Kamp and Ron Weasley shade
Pastel shade hair had been over taking the fashion scene. Not many are brave enough to go for the look. Mind you, it is a process too so it is not an easy process unless you are fortunate enough to have been born blonde. For us asians it is definitely hard to lift the base color of our hair which is either jet black or deep dark brown that will prove to be a challenge to get to a platinum or ash blonde shade.
My hair had been bleached, processed and dyed multiple times before and I have always love how blonde locks look on me. As a matter of fact I have finally reached a certain look but it came to a point where boyf insisted I dye my hair dark again. Which I did… and I dyed it jet black! Even if my hair is naturally dark brown. So now… that i wanted to go for blonde again it is way harder to lift the dark pigments deposited in the cuticles of my hair. Which means it will be a process [a long one] before I achieve the look I want.
Just as I have shared yesterday I went grocery shopping and included one box of Revlon Frost and Glow [which have bleach in it] and is meant only to be used for highlighting hair but I decided to use it all over. Yes, I know I am not supposed to use it that way but I still did. Again, Yes I am aware there can be side effects, not just in my hair but as well as for my health. Why did I only have one box? Because bleaching my hair in one day will cause really really bad damage and most likely it will fry and toast my hair if not falling off my scalp. Which is why I will wait 3-4 weeks in between before bleaching again to get to the shade I want… and enduring 3-4 weeks with my hair looking like however it will turn out.

My Hair Turned Uneven Blonde
It wasn’t completely blonde. There were no patches but I do have lighter streaks in some area so I decided to Dye it Medium Blonde to even it out. Bad Choice! I had that blonde dye sitting around in my bathroom for 3-4 weeks which I got from my last big grocery shopping. That shouldn’t have been there. I got tempted.

I was WTF! OMFG I have an Orange Brassy Hair!!! Lord help me this is nowhere close to the shade I want. My hair was better off uneven as it looks like highlight! This one is OFF the chart! Except I have no choice to wait it out… >.

Ron Weasley’s Hair
What shade do I really want to go for? Platinum Blonde or Pastel Hair! Either a baby pink one or light purple. My inspiration? Rainbow Dash! Lulz.
For now I will be dealing with my Orange hair and will try to tame it down with regular washing of shampoo and maybe even try to do a DIY tint since I am not going back to the grocery store anytime soon. I’m actually considering food dye and even unsweetened kool aid. Yep. Will keep y’all posted! xox
